🎄✨ What a Festive Week We've Had! ✨🎄

It's been a wonderfully Christmassy week at school, packed full of festive fun and creative activities! Here's what we've been up to:

🎅 We kicked off with a beautiful Christmas Assembly at Tunley Church, setting the perfect tone for the season. The excitement continued with Christmas Bingo, a joyful Christmas Sing-Along, a fabulous Christmas Party, a delicious Christmas Dinner, and of course, a cosy Christmas Jumper Day! But most importantly, we received a visit off a very special visitor...Father Christmas himself!

In Oak Class, the children explored a Christmas Poetry Unit, typed up their poems to create heartfelt messages for their Christmas cards, and got artistic by drawing geometric Christmas pictures inspired by Grayson Perry, the artist we've been studying this term. In PE they used blindfolds and a football with a bell to gain insight into how sports are adapted for people with visual impairments.

In Acorn Class, the festive spirit was just as lively! The children crafted beautiful salt dough Christmas decorations and completed a thoughtful diary entry inspired by the enchanting book A Winter’s Child.

As we wrap up this magical term, we’d like to wish all our families a wonderful festive break! We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, 6th January, when we'll kick off the new year with a trip to St. George's to enjoy the panto Sleeping Beauty.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from all of us! 🎅🎁✨
