Oak Class enjoyed an informative trip to Cuerden Valley this morning, to consolidate their learning about rivers.

They revisited technical vocabulary and saw for themselves what each feature looked like. Next, they took part in some duck races to measure the speed of the river (River Lostock) before spending some time in the river itself catching and studying some of wildlife.
