Week ending 13th September

What a fantastic first full week back at school! It’s been wonderful to have everyone together again, and the atmosphere has been buzzing with excitement. We’ve been especially proud to see our school values in action:

We Aim High - Children have shown determination in all their learning, setting their sights on success.

We Stand Together - From helping each other settle in, to supporting new faces, we’ve seen a true sense of community.

We Are Considerate - Kindness has been on full display, with thoughtful gestures in and out of the classroom.

We Persevere - Tackling challenges with grit, especially with our new maths scheme, has been inspiring.

We Are Responsible - Children have taken ownership of their learning spaces and behaviour – a testament to their growth.

This week’s highlights included the exciting launch of our brand-new Red Rose Maths scheme and Year 3’s first ukulele lesson with Lancashire Music Service – the strumming has already begun! Plus, the classrooms have had a full zhuzh-up with a complete reorganisation and fresh layouts to inspire our kids to thrive.

We have an exciting half-term ahead, full of learning and new experiences. Let’s keep that positive energy going!
