What a Brilliant First Week Back!
Our first week of term was filled with excitement, surprises, and a fantastic sense of adventure! Oak Class walked into a spooky setup to set the stage for an enchanting half term of learning. The children were thrilled to discover they’ll be reading The Worst Witch by Jill Murphy and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. Adding to the excitement, they learned they will be diving into some fascinating local history about the Pendle Witches!
Acorn Class was greeted with glitter, a pirate's hook arm, and a scrambled sentence that, once pieced together, revealed their thrilling new topic: pirates and the magical story of Peter Pan!
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the Halloween Party! A huge thank you to our wonderful children, staff, and parents for making it such a memorable experience. We’d like to give a special shout-out to our newly formed PTFA for their incredible efforts in making the event so magical. A massive thank you to Lindsey Higson for the stunning balloon arrangements and to Jeanette Lord for the generous sweet cone donations!
Here’s to an amazing term ahead!
