Weekly Highlights at Mighty Mossy

What a fantastic week we've had! Here's a look at what we've been up to:

Acorn Class

In English and Science, we combined our skills to write non-chronological reports about lions – full of fascinating facts!

We had an egg-citing time holding our fluffy chicks!

Maths has been hands-on with plenty of practical activities to understand fractions.

Oak Class

We completed our independent write based on Arthur and the Golden Rope – we can't wait to bring these to life in our graphic novels next week!

In History, we were inspired by the courageous Boudicca and her rebellion against the Romans!

We have loved watching our ducks grow! They even enjoyed daily paddling pool sessions, and we’ve learned so much about life cycles. Although we are sad to see them go today, it has been an amazing experience!

The whole school has been making the most of the beautiful spring sunshine during playtimes.

We got creative in Art, making beautiful Mother’s Day cards.

A big thank you to Lancashire Fire and Rescue for visiting us!

Acorn Class learned what to do in a fire and how to stay safe.

Oak Class took this further, learning about fire risks, bike safety, and road awareness.

Please check that your child knows their home address in case of an emergency, not everyone did!
