Remembrance 2021
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them...
School have participated in lots of different remembrance events this week. They have all learnt the importance of remembrance day and why we must continue to remember.
With Prags, the children created some beautiful poppy art work, which is displayed the front window.
We all enjoyed a remembrance virtual session- Oak Class met with a soldier from WWI, who taught us all about the events that led to the start of WWI. Acorn Class heard what remembrance is and why we still need to remember.
Finally, all children took part beautifully in a minutes silence.
