Tunley United Reformed Church

We visit our local church, “Tunley United Reformed Church” in December for a joint Christmas Service where all parents, families and friends are invited to join with us as we recognise Christmas as part of our RE curriculum.

Pre-School Education

We strive to establish sound links with all our pre-school child-care providers to ensure a smooth transition for children as they enter the Reception Class in September each year.

School Nurse

We have excellent relationships with the Health Service and have provided “drop-in” sessions for parents to meet with the School Nurse to discuss any health care concerns they might have regarding their child.

Behaviour referral pathway for school aged children

We are very excited to announce we have teamed up with Quality Sport Holiday Clubs and as of Summer 2021 we will be offering Holiday Clubs on site at St George’s during all school holidays.  Quality Sport are a well-established OFSTED registered holiday club provision providing children with the opportunity to explore a wide variety of sports and other activities including arts & crafts, den building, outdoor adventures, baking etc.  The owner is a parent of the school and after meeting last week we feel this will be a fantastic collaboration and asset to the school.  Attached is a leaflet with all the information on the Summer Club and booking is now live on the Quality Sport website www.qualitysport.co.uk. The club is open to children from all schools, but priority books will be taken for St George's kids, and Mossy kids, whence it will be opened more widely to the local community.
